About us

NetDevices designed and developed for Accor the project STORM. This tool aims to efficiently integrate cartographic data from Accor-branded hotels and hotel owners worldwide.

Context

The mission for NetDevices was to complete the tool with an integration that also includes financial and environmental data, hotel status and number of rooms (keys). By clicking on a country, the user can view the Owners and Hotels on the map, and can access the details of the hotel owner. In addition, the tool offers a dated timeline of hotels, providing a detailed and up-to-date overview of information relevant to the management and monitoring of the Group's hotels.

NetDevices has set up a simple simulator to give you a cost estimate for your project.

Solution(s)

As part of our project, NetDevices used React for the technological part. For map integration, we opted for the Mapbox GL. The latter allows us to customize the map to suit our needs, and offers greater responsiveness when loading. What's more, Mapbox GL offers a number of free features, making it an advantageous solution for our project.

Impact

NetDevices intervened on theUX/UI, guaranteeing an optimal and intuitive user experience. This combination of technologies has enabled us to create a fast, scalable platform that meets our users' needs efficiently and effectively. Managing data from multiple sources required extensive standardization and synchronization work to guarantee the consistency and reliability of the information displayed. Secondly, the advanced customization of the map with Mapbox GL required specific technical skills, in particular to correctly configure map styles and optimize the performance of real-time data display.
