Accor STORM: internal mapping tool
for the Accor group
Accor STORM is an innovative internal mapping tool for hotel management and owners within the Accor group.

About
NetDevices designed and developed for Accor the STORM project. This tool aims to efficiently integrate the map data of hotels and hotel owners operating under the Accor brand worldwide.
Background
NetDevices' mission was to complete the tool with an integration that also includes financial and environmental data, hotel statuses, and the number of rooms (keys). By clicking on a country, users can view the owners and hotels on the map and access detailed information and a detailed file on the hotel owner. In addition, the tool provides a dated timeline for hotels, giving a detailed and up-to-date overview of information relevant to the management and monitoring of the group's hotel establishments.
NetDevices has set up a simple simulator that will allow you to obtain a cost estimate for your project.
Solution(s)
As part of our project, NetDevicesused React for the technological part. For the map integration, we opted for the Mapbox GL library. This allows us to customize the map according to our needs and offers better responsiveness when loading. In addition, Mapbox GL offers many free features, making it an advantageous solution for our project.
Impact
NetDevices worked on the UX/UI, ensuring an optimal and intuitive user experience. This combination of technologies allows us to create a fast and scalable platform that meets the needs of our users efficiently and effectively. Managing data from multiple sources required significant standardization and synchronization work to ensure the consistency and reliability of the information displayed. Next, advanced map customization with Mapbox GL required specific technical skills, particularly to correctly configure map styles and optimize the performance of real-time data display.
