Consumers spend a large amount of time with digital maps—and with maps on mobile devices in particular. According to a new eMarketer report, map use has exploded in the smartphone era, and consumers’ frequent usage of mobile map apps could mean an opportunity for advertisers to engage audiences via such platforms.
